Nurturing and growing
Hey y’all! Do you know what else I’ve been up to during this quarantine? I’ve been nurturing and growing some beautiful plants!
Meet Palmy, Phila, Aloeisa and Kodezinho. It’s been so cool doing research on how often I should be watering, talking to and adding soil to my babies, so they can live more prosperous lives! My mom also helped me revive Aloeisa (the aloe vera 🌱) because it was dying. I needed to add more soil + keep it near a well lit window.
My community group, @flowergirlsmeet, has an upcoming collaboration with @BlackGirlswithGardens and I’m so excited to learn more! In the meantime, the founder of BGWG shares her tips on the 5 ways we could be killing our plants and don’t know it:
1️⃣ Overwatering
2️⃣ Too cold or warm environment
3️⃣ Not doing your research
4️⃣ Neglecting recommended re-potting advice
5️⃣ Not enough light
Check out her Instagram/ site for more tips! Growing plants (just like friendships) is definitely a process but once you decide you want something to work out, you make it happen, right? 🥰🌿🌱💕
