Hey y’all! Do you know what else I’ve been up to during this quarantine? I’ve been nurturing and growing some beautiful plants!⁣

Meet Palmy, Phila, Aloeisa and Kodezinho. It’s been so cool doing research on how often I should be watering, talking to and adding soil to my babies, so they can live more prosperous lives! My mom also helped me revive Aloeisa (the aloe vera 🌱) because it was dying. I needed to add more soil + keep it near a well lit window.

My community group, @flowergirlsmeet, has an upcoming collaboration with @BlackGirlswithGardens and I’m so excited to learn more! In the meantime, the founder of BGWG shares her tips on the 5 ways we could be killing our plants and don’t know it:⁣⁣⁣
1️⃣ Overwatering ⁣⁣⁣
2️⃣ Too cold or warm environment ⁣⁣⁣
3️⃣ Not doing your research ⁣⁣⁣
4️⃣ Neglecting recommended re-potting advice⁣⁣⁣
5️⃣ Not enough light ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Check out her Instagram/ site for more tips! Growing plants (just like friendships) is definitely a process but once you decide you want something to work out, you make it happen, right? 🥰🌿⁣🌱💕⁣⁣
